MocapGen (mocapgen.com) is a browser-based text-to-animation tool for Roblox creators. Describe a move in English, and MocapGen generates 4 variations of an R15 animation that you can preview in the browser and import into Roblox Studio. It is made for Roblox developers, animators and hobbyists who want a starting point without keyframing every bone by hand.

How it works

  1. Describe the move. Type a short English prompt, pick a length between 0.5 and 10 seconds and a motion mode.
  2. Preview 4 variations. Each request produces 4 variations. Play them in the browser and pick the one you like.
  3. Download and import. Download an R15 animation file for Roblox Studio, an R15 FBX, or a Mixamo-named FBX.

Generating costs credits, and the cost is shown before you generate. See pricing for credit packs and monthly plans. If you just need a common move, the free library has 24 R15 animations you can download after you sign in, without spending credits.

AI-generated content notice

Every animation MocapGen makes is machine-generated by an AI model, including the samples, the free library and the public gallery, and we label it AI-generated wherever we show it publicly. The motion model is Tencent HY-Motion 1.0; the terms set out the rules that come with it, including that output must not be used to train or improve other AI models, and that you say an animation is AI-generated when you publish it on its own.

What it is not

  • Not affiliated with Roblox Corporation. MocapGen is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of its owner.
  • Not a replacement for an animator's judgement. Results are AI-generated, vary between runs, and may need cleanup before you ship them.
  • Not for content that breaks the rules. The content policy explains what is refused.

Your data

We store your prompts and the animations you generate in private storage. History is kept for a limited time that depends on your plan, and the privacy policy has the details. The terms list the AI models we use.
